This course is intended to provide the real estate professional with the knowledge and skills necessary to inform his or her clients about the benefits and possibilities that exist with self-directed IRA and 40l(k) accounts. There is a widespread misconception that permissible IRA investments are limited to stocks,bonds, mutual funds and CD’s. Individuals with self-directed IRAs invest in rentals, rehabs and much more.

  • Advanta IRA Services, LLC does not sell or promote any particular investments or investment strategies.

We simply provide a recordkeeping service for individuals who are looking to use their retirement funds to invest in real estate. The presentation will give realtors the requisite knowledge on self-directed IRAs to advise their own current investors and help them to work with future investors, as well. Advanta IRA does not charge.

Larissa is associate director of marketing and education at Advanta IRA Services, LLC.
She frequently lectures on self-directed IRAs and IRS section 4975 on prohibited
transactions and disqualified persons. Larissa has the designation of Certified IRA
Services Professional from the American Bankers Association. She is the editor of
Advanta IRA’s newsletter, The Quarterly Contribution. Larissa also plans events for both
the Tampa and Atlanta offices and organizes all of the seminars and webinars. She is
the coordinator for our realtor education courses unique to Advanta IRA (Advanta U)
and is one of the representatives for affiliate memberships for groups such as NARPM.
