This class is designed for the professional property manager. The class focuses on using single family homes as the property type, but much of the material could be applied to multi-family or commercial properties as well. The class is designed to give students a tool they can immediately use to identify and reduce the risk in their property management business. The course will introduce the risk reduction theory and then how to apply it to several categories: property owners, tenants, government legislation, technology and vendors/contractors.

ABOUT STEVE SCHULTZ

Steve graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working for Shell Oil Company and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, he decided he wanted to take on the challenge of building a company from scratch. He began by building his own portfolio of residential rental properties. As he built his rental portfolio, he also wanted to create a property management company that would maximize the interests of the property owner. That is how Blue Fox Properties was born. From the onset, Steve has been dedicated to learning from property managers around the country. So upon founding Blue Fox, he immediately sought out for and discovered NARPM®. Steve has been selected as 1 of only 6 instructors from across Arizona to teach the Arizona Association of Realtors’, Certified Residential Property Manager courses. In addition, he is a certified instructor of property management continuing education courses in Arizona. He is also a national speaker, instructor and author. Steve is the Designated Broker and Owner of Blue Fox Properties in Tucson, AZ. Blue Fox Properties specializes 100% in managing residential properties, primarily single family homes.
